Monica Weller, Rob’s Aunt, Has Started a Website about “Pattinson Family”

Monica Weller is Rob’s mother Clare’s sister. So, technically, she herself is NOT a Pattinson. She claims in her bio section of her website the reason she plans to discuss the Pattinson family online:

When my nephew Robert Pattinson became a household name, as most people know he is a huge movie star famous for his role in the Twilight films, my privacy was invaded. Unscrupulous journalists arrived on my doorstep for crumbs of information about Robert. My phone was hacked and members of my close family were somehow tracked down. This has all been a very nasty experience. I have been quoted in newspapers, magazines and online following interviews that I never gave. So the time has come for me to smooth out some of those injustices that have been bestowed on me and my family.

Hello everyone
This is a First: The first blog actually designed and written by a relation of Robert Pattinson. Yes, the famous actor.
Over the past few years I have been doorstepped by unscrupulous journalists, have had my phone hacked and been quoted and misquoted in newspapers in this country (UK) and abroad about my nephew Robert Pattinson. And I have decided enough is enough. I will tell my story, with pictures never seen before, and will try to give readers of my blog a flavour of what it is like being related to Robert Pattinson the famous actor, vampire star of Twilight.

Hello Everyone
A friend told me yesterday that I’d ended my previous Post too abruptly, “It looks like you’ve gone off for a cup of tea” she said. She said I needed to give readers hope for the next page or post. So if I do forget to sign off properly it’s because a) I have actually gone off for a cup of tea or b)because I’m getting my thoughts around a subject that has been screaming inside my head to get out. And I need to get some order to those random thoughts…..particularly about Robert Pattinson’s grandfather, John Douglas Charlton, and Robert’s roots.
