Today's Music Monday artist is John Lee Hooker. Hooker was born in 1917 in Mississippi. Unlike many of today's musical artists, Hooker didn't fall into the lap of the music industry. He spent years playing for friends and acquaintances before he was discovered in the late 1940s.
Hooker's hits include "Boom Boom," "Dimples," and "I'm in the Mood."
