Music Monday - Butch Walker (@butchwalker)

Today's Music Monday artist happens to be my own all-time favorite musician. :)

Butch Walker was born in Georgia in 1969. He got his music start at an early age and played in a variety of groups, including Floyd's Funk Revival, Southgang, and Marvelous 3 (my all-time favorite band ... and where I first discovered BW).

In addition to writing and performing, Walker is also a well-known producer. He's worked with groups like Weezer and Fall Out Boy, and his songs appear on albums by artists like Avril Lavigne, the All American Rejects, and Quietdrive. Walker also has a book out called "Drinking With Strangers: Music Lessons from a Teenage Bullet Belt," and a film coming out called "Out of Focus," which you can see the trailer for here.

Some of Walker's hits include "Freak of the Week" (performed when he was with Marvelous 3), "Sugarbuzz," and "Mixtape."

I could write about this man for hours, but I won't. ;)

Check out the video below for one of my favorite Butch songs, "Don't Move." You can also visit his Official Website and follow the man himself on Twitter.

I'd source this, but .... all the info came straight out of the Walker files in my brain! :)
