Robert Pattinson ‘Embarrassed’ After Profusely Sweating Through Maps To The Stars Sex Scene With Julianne Moore

Robert Pattinson is one of the most smoking hot men in Hollywood but he was literally hot while filming a sex scene with Julianne Moore for their new movie Maps To The Stars, with the Twilight hottie admitting to sweating buckets while trying to get intimate with his co-star. Cringe!

In the David Cronenberg directed film which is out in UK cinemas today, R-Patz stars as limo driver Jerome who has big dreams of making it big in Hollywood and comes across once-successful actress Havana, played by Moore, who is desperate to regain her days of fame and fortune. Their relationship soon turns physical and while the end product may look perfectly steamy, Rob says it was very uncomfortable during filming.

"It was so hot in Toronto [where the movie was shot], and she's one of these people... she doesn't sweat at all,” Rob told Heat magazine of his co-star. "But I sweat like a f*****g crazy person. And I was trying to literally catch drops of sweat to stop them hitting her back! Afterwards she was like 'Are you having a panic attack?' It was so embarrassing.”

That does sound slightly awkward, Rob! The British actor explains how he was able to connect with the Hollywood-based storyline, revealing that he’s been able to avoid getting sucked into the celebrity lifestyle at the height of his Twilight fame by remembering the friends he had before he hit the big time.

"Julianne's character, I've definitely met people a lot like her,” Rob told the publication. "It's not in a totally unlikable way. I've hung out with people like that - they're fun to be around. They're desperate to please. I always find people like that quite entertaining. I think I had a good set of friends before. When your entire social life is based around people you meet after you get famous, that's when you have no foundation and it gets a bit weird,” he admitted.
