Eric Maddox Happy To Have Robert Pattinson Portray Him in Mission: Blacklist

New article from W.E.N.N. says Eric Maddox is thrilled to have Robert Pattinson play him:
The war hero Robert Pattinson will portray in new movie Mission: Blacklist has given the Twilight star the thumbs up to play him after spending 14 hours with the Brit.

In the new movie, which chronicles the capture of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, Pattinson will play real-life military interrogator Eric Maddox, who wrote the book that inspired the film project.

And as the movie creates a buzz at the Cannes Film Festival in France, Maddox has gone public with his thoughts about the casting – and he approves.

He says, “For me, it was a no-brainer. I said absolutely! Whatever you did to get that guy to be a part of this movie, I think it’s wonderful and I fully support it. We’re talking about a guy who is super famous and really popular.

“We met for 14 hours and he focused exclusively on the project and wanted to get down to the nitty gritty of the project. His entire focus was on the project. It wasn’t about him or his needs, and from that, I realized that this is a guy who is dedicated to his work and wanted to put in the hours. That’s what made me certain that they have built the right team for this.”

Breaking Dawn Part 2 Storyboards

Below are a few sneak peeks of Breaking Dawn Part 2 via storyboards found on the Breaking Dawn Part 1 DVD .

Unfortunately none of them include Edward, but we thought you would enjoy them anyway.

From Examiner.com:

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 has been out on DVD and Blu-ray for months now, but there may just be another reason to check out the special features.
French Twilight Saga fansites Breaking Dawn Forever and  Twilight Vef France discovered a little Easter Egg hidden in the DVD extras for Breaking Dawn - Part 1: a glimpse at the script and storyboard for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.
As you can see in the screencaps below, the scenes highlighted in these storyboard sections include what appears to be a hunting scene with "Bella" (Kristen Stewart) as well as her big arm-wrestling scene with "Emmett" (Kellan Lutz). In the hunting scene storyboard frames, it looks like she's thrown off course by the presence of a rock climber rather than a fisherman, as in the book.

What the Trailer to Breaking Dawn Part 2 Contains

We all know that the first trailer for Breaking Dawn Part 2 was shown before The Hunger Games last night.  We now have information on what the trailer contained so if you want to know, continue reading.  If you don't want to know, don't read any further!

For starters, the newly-transitioned "Bella" (Kristen Stewart) opens up the feature with a little bit of voiceover, saying, “After eighteen years of being utterly ordinary, I’ve finally found that I can shine.”

She then takes a glance at her hand before she is shown racing through the woods in her blue dress for what is presumably her first hunt as a newborn.

"Jacob" (Taylor Lautner) walks up and says, "I didn't expect you to be so you," and then "Edward" (Robert Pattinson) touches her hand and notes, "We're the same temperature now."

"Bella" pops onto the screen with her bright red eyes, and then the title art for the film is shown.

Afterward, a deer is shown roaming through the woods (remember the first scene in Twilight, anyone?

Director Bill Condon has always said that Breaking Dawn is his bookend to the first film). Then, "Bella" appears between some nearby trees, looking ready to pounce. Let the hunt begin!

The teaser will debut online on Monday, March 26th at 6:00 a.m., and it'll be shown at all Hunger Games screenings this weekend.

Thanks to Amanda Bell at Examiner.com for the info!

Jack Morrissey Breaking Dawn Twitter Q&A

Jack Morrissey took some time out of his busy schedule to answer fan questions about Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2.

I'm loving what he said about the BD 2 trailer being new footage! I wish I had some interest in seeing The Hunger Games but I don't so I guess I'll have to wait until Monday to see the trailer. ***sigh***

Why did they change the engagement ring in BD2?
Asking @gregyolen…. Greg says the ring wasn’t changed.

For Edward being such a traditionalist, why does he say Bella instead of Isabella in the wedding vows?
Sounds like a question for screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg!

Why were so many scenes left out of the movie when the running time was relatively short?
Because he came to feel that they were extraneous to the pacing and flow. Editing is never about runtime.

The scene with Edward in the ocean while Bella walks out to meet him: Legit or CGI? Looks too perfect to be real!
A blend of both. It depends on which specific shot you’re wondering about.

Did Rob smoke a cigarette before every take/scene?
Nope.

What was your first impression of Kristen and Rob?
That they walked around like normal people, honestly.

Why does the Twilight Saga never get nominated for Oscars?
It's not what we call an awards movie.

Was there a longer version of B/E wedding dance at the reception?
No, I don't think so.  Not that I ever saw anyway.

Why in the movie did Edward and Bella not have sex three times on the honeymoon like in the book?
Twice was sufficient. ;-P

The movie companion says B wears E’s clothes on the honeymoon. In what scene? Was this cut?
The first breakfast scene, maybe?

Why did Edward stop wearing his Cullen Crest wristcuff after the wedding?
I believe that was a choice of the costume designer’s and Bill.

I have just one thing that troubles me: sparkles! We didn’t see any “diamonds” on Edward on BD1,hope to see some on Bella in Part Two.
What about the waterfall?

Any news on when promo for Part 2 will start? We need to batten down the hatches!
It’s starting!!!!

Breaking Dawn Part 2 logo was revealed. What do you think? Is there anything you can tell us about the color choice?
Full-on sun, right?

Is the trailer that will be released on the 23rd the same as the Target one?
No, it’s completely new and completely awesome.

What is the run time of the trailer?
Maybe a minute or a bit more – the usual teaser length. But it’s what they fit in to that time…

Will the BD2 trailer be in front of The Hunger Games in IMAX,or only in regular theaters?
Probably IMAX as well.

Will we see Renessmee/Edward with Renessmee in the trailer?
Wait and see!

Thanks for the great info @Team_Jack!
