Breaking Dawn Part 2 Storyboards

Below are a few sneak peeks of Breaking Dawn Part 2 via storyboards found on the Breaking Dawn Part 1 DVD .

Unfortunately none of them include Edward, but we thought you would enjoy them anyway.

From Examiner.com:

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 has been out on DVD and Blu-ray for months now, but there may just be another reason to check out the special features.
French Twilight Saga fansites Breaking Dawn Forever and  Twilight Vef France discovered a little Easter Egg hidden in the DVD extras for Breaking Dawn - Part 1: a glimpse at the script and storyboard for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.
As you can see in the screencaps below, the scenes highlighted in these storyboard sections include what appears to be a hunting scene with "Bella" (Kristen Stewart) as well as her big arm-wrestling scene with "Emmett" (Kellan Lutz). In the hunting scene storyboard frames, it looks like she's thrown off course by the presence of a rock climber rather than a fisherman, as in the book.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 Outpaces Eclipse on DVD

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 1" got off to a stronger start on home entertainment than the last "Twilight" movies, selling 3.2 million DVD and Blu-ray discs over the weekend.
That is 18 percent more than the 2010 "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" took in its first weekend of home release in December 2010. "Eclipse" sold 2.7 million units its first weekend of release.
The discs went on sale at midnight on Saturday -- timing reserved for big titles. Target and Walmart stores each sold exclusive versions of "Breaking Dawn" DVDs and Blu-rays, and held special events just after midnight Saturday morning.
Summit said that film also had approximately 50,000 digital sales, a 47 percent increase over "Eclipse," and approximately 80,000 Video-on-demand transactions, a 142 percent increase over the 2010 movie.
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 1" was released in theaters on Nov. 16, 2011 and has grossed more than $700 million worldwide.
The second installment in "Breaking Dawn" -- and the final episode of the "Twilight" series -- is scheduled for a Nov. 16 theatrical release.

Breaking Dawn Wedding Invitation Goof

Let the goofs begin!  Now that the DVD is out and people have had a chance to scrutinize every little detail, it’s only natural that some goofs become apparent.

AllyeNohealanion Twitter sent Twilight Lexicon this one. She writes, “Hey @TwilightLexicon! MAJOR typo in the BD Wedding video! E/B marry on August THIRTEENTH not the THIRTIETH!”

Anybody catch any others?

Breaking Dawn Will Show Edward Cullen's Early Life

Director Bill Condon was interviewed by Fandango about Breaking Dawn and confirmed there will be additional scenes from Edward's early life.  Exciting stuff!  Is it the 18th yet?

Fandango: We get so much of Bella's and Jacob's view in the last book, but what specific parts do we get to see more of Edward's point of view?

Condon: There's something that we put in there that's referred to in an earlier book. We actually get to see Edward in his early life as a vampire and hear his thoughts about that. There's a glimpse of him in Twilight describing how he got turned, how he got changed by Carlisle, but this is more extensive. I do think we get more inside Edward and he changes a lot, too. The wedding has an effect on him. There's an aspect of self-loathing to him about what he did when he was a vampire [earlier] that he releases through Bella's love. I think that's a fun thing to watch.

Breaking Dawn Director Bill Condon Talks About the Birth Scene

Boxoffice recently chatted with Bill Condon, the director behind the last two installments of the beloved Twilight Saga. Check out an excerpt of the interview below.

We interviewed Robert Pattinson a while back and he said the only other director he could imagine handling the blood of Breaking Dawn was David Cronenberg [The Fly, Naked Lunch].

And then he went to work for him! [In 2012's Cosmopolis] But I know what he means because it is very, very intense in the last part—it's almost like a horror movie. And he's certainly delivered the most intense images in the last decade or so. I tried to get my Cronenberg on a little bit and I think within the confines of a PG-13 rating, I think we've got something that's pretty powerful.

Everyone has been saying for years how hard it would be to make Breaking Dawn PG-13. How did you pull it off?

The whole movie is very immersive, kind of like in the book, which is in the point of view of Bella and Jacob [Taylor Lautner]. We tried to do the same thing in the movie—there's a whole chunk where you get inside the head of a wolf. And in terms of the birth, it was, "Let's do it from Bella's point of view. Let's see whatever she can see." Once you decide on an approach like that, it's amazing how powerful you can be without being overly explicit. She gets glimpses of a lot of things—and hears everything—but it's not the cutaway to teeth clawing through flesh. But you certainly know what's happening.
